The Florida FFA (Future Farmers of America) Foundation was created in to provide resources to encourage and enhance the development of premier leadership, personal growth, and career success of FFA members. Their team works to reach a very important group of prospects, our state’s young people, to educate them about opportunities, leadership, and careers in agriculture.
The foundation’s fundraising provides funds for awards, scholarships, or other recognition as authorized by the Florida FFA Foundation Board of Directors and Florida FFA Association to deserving FFA members who have achieved distinction on a national, state or local basis. They operate in an environment of transparency and publish their outcomes in the annual report.
Our team supports the foundation on many efforts, especially the annual Beast Feast each March. It’s a delicious and fun way to get involved with the young people and local community. Another simple way is through the Buy-A-Brick campaign, an ongoing effort to help raise funds. The bricks cover the beautiful courtyard and community members can buy a 4″ x 8″ brick for only a $100 donation and have it personalized in honor or memory of someone special.
